Day 1 | HIKKADUWA - SIGIRIYA (OR Start from Colombo Airport)

Begin your journey early in the morning to Sigiriya, with a stop at a pineapple plantation and the renowned Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for elephants. Here, you can watch baby elephants being fed and see them enjoy their daily bath in the river. In the afternoon, explore the Sigiriya Fortress, the ancient royal palace of King Kassyappa (477-495 A.D). Enjoy dinner and overnight at a hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 2 | SIGIRIYA - KANDY

After a morning elephant ride through the jungle, head towards Kandy. En route, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, Nelligala Temple,a batik factory, and a spice garden in Matale. In Kandy, explore the Temple of the Tooth and enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

Day 3 | KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and continue to Nuwara Eliya, a cool, spring-like town influenced by British colonial architecture. Along the way, stop at the famous Ramboda Waterfall, a Sri Lankan tea plantation, and a working tea factory where you can try tea plucking. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4 | NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA

After breakfast, you can choose to travel to Ella by train, which offers a scenic route through lush tea plantations and provides stunning views of the Sri Lankan countryside. Our driver will take you to the Nuwara Eliya train station and will be waiting to pick you up upon your arrival in Ella. Once you check in at your hotel, you can either hike up Little Adam`s Peak, visit Rama’s Cave, or relax by one of the many waterfalls in Ella. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Ella.

Day 5 | ELLA - TISSAMAHARAMA

After breakfast, head to Yala for a safari tour in Yala National Park. Yala West is located in the southeast of Sri Lanka and is famous worldwide for its leopard sightings. The park spans over 100,000 hectares and features diverse landscapes, including sand dunes, lagoons, dry riverbeds, rocky outcrops, and scrub forests. The park is also home to elephants, spotted deer, sambar, wild buffalo, sloth bears, jackals, mongoose, pangolins, and crocodiles. Over 120 bird species can be found, ranging from lesser flamingos to paradise flycatchers, crested hawk eagles, and black bitterns. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Tissamaharama.

Day 6 | YALA - HIKKADUWA

Enjoy an early morning safari in Yala National Park, and then travel back to Hikkaduwa via the picturesque southern coastal road. Along the way, visit Dondra Lighthouse, the blowhole at Dickwella, and the Weligama fishing village. The tour concludes here.
